“I had the great privilege of presenting legislative citations to the recent graduates of SOFTEC heavy equipment operator training in Siren, WI. This Innovative program provides life changing opportunities to the communities in rural Wisconsin. The fast track program has proven results of getting people quickly employed into the construction trades with excellent salaries and benefits. This is training that should be modeled statewide. Congratulations to the recent graduates and all of the folks that have made this program a success.

NEW TO SOFTEC IN 2023:
*SolidWorks and Single Board data aquisition computers (Arduino) focused on Medical Device
R&D and testing technology and innovation. We are grateful for Bill “Billy” O’Neill for sharing his years of experience and expertise to volunteer to train young adults in this growing industry sector!
* Solar Tech Training provided by industry certified experts.
* Computer Technology courses- online and industry certified curriculum that can be completed in
6 months with an investment of only 10hours per week.
* Hybrid Heavy Equipment Operator Training combined with a CDL endorsement for those who
have a qualifying driving record with no restrictions. This will be a combined course timeline
of a minimum of 5-6-weeks depending on personal performance and ability. **A WI DOT CDL
written test permit and a FedMed card must be obtained prior to the start of the course.
